§ 134 GewO Consulting Engineers

   

(1) The scope of business of engineering offices (§ 94 Z 69) includes consulting, the preparation of plans, calculations and studies, the performance of investigations, inspections and measurements, the preparation of projects, the management of projects, the supervision of the execution of projects, the acceptance of projects and the examination of project execution, including the examination of project - related invoices, as well as the preparation of expert opinions in relevant specialist areas corresponding to a degree programme or a postgraduate course of at least four semesters at a domestic university, a university of applied sciences or a university of applied sciences with an artistic orientation or a relevant domestic vocational secondary school.

(4)  Tradespeople who are authorised in accordance with subparagraph (1) are entitled to represent the client before authorities or public bodies within the scope of their trade licence.
